Starting Charity Projects.

Hi everyone. I am starting a charity project in the memory of my great grandmother, who passed away late last month.

I found out from a nurse who worked there, that my GG crocheted all year round to make comfortghans for the pateints on her hall. (there are 13 in all now) I would like to do this for these patients this year, as a way to keep my GG's spirit alive and moving. I will appreciate any help given to me, as I want to do alot of it myself. I have added a donation button, as my family members from out of town have added a few dollars to the fund. ANY help is appreciated, whether it be squares, money, scrap yarn, yarn balls, or whatever you ahve to send. Ok, so here it is. I am up past Cleveland now. Have to tackle the 22 rows of solid brown, before tackling the dreaded helmet.

Hopefully I will on the helmet by the end of the weekend, have to work today and tomorrow, and going out with hubby on Sat, so I won't have much time to work on it, but I am hoping....

I lost a whole skein of orange RHSS, so now I have to dig up the wrapper to make sure I have the right color exactly, and go find more, somewhere, and hope I can find it.

Otherwise I might be hitting up the ville to have some of you look through your stashes. Mine simply isn't big enough yet. :)

about 2 weeks into blanket....

Ok, so I am about 2 weeks into Tommy's blanket.....I am almost up to row 90. Thank god.


All the lettering is finished, now I have to tackle the solid space before the helmet, then finally onto the dreaded helmet.....

Browns play 1st Pre-Season game tonight agains the Jets and Farve. :) We will still win, and I will work on my Browns balnket. Goal is to have it finished by the end of Pre-season, so I need to keep working.

As soon as I find my USB cord, I will upload some pics. :) I think it looks good, hubby hasn't complained and he is usually pretty picky and opinionated, so I figure I am doing ok.

And for the record, I am NEVER going back to SC in a graph :) never, ever, ever.

First post.

Hi everybody, started a new project 2 days ago for hubby. Making him an afghan in a Cleveland Brown's theme...........So it's going to be huge. 1st timedoing an afghan stitch, so I hope it comes out ok.

I'm going to figure out how to post a pic of the pattern, since I am only like 14 lines in now......so ya'll can see what I am doing. Hope ya likes :)
